About
R.dyer combines anything from found sounds, synth, musical saw, saxophone, nose-flute, folk harp, household objects, and light up shoelaces to create looped performances which move from baroque-pop to mesmerising soundscapes via acapella lullabies and stories about dogs in trainers. A regular performer in their home-town of Brighton, they’ve supported Sarah Angliss, Porridge Radio, Ana da Silva & PHEW!, Alabaster dePlume, Haiku Salut and Richard Dawson, as well being one of three early career artists to be awarded an Emergent Commission by Drake music in 2021.

Either total crap or absolute genius

stories of minutiae and mundanity told with …heartfelt magic
bags of presence, charisma, authenticity and an entertainingly eclectic array of instruments
a beautiful show
I’m looking forward to what they’ll come up with next
R.dyer combines a deep soulful grasp of songwriting with a wonky off grid sensibility…their use of loops next to rich instrumentations mark them out as at a true original whilst their vocals a no thing less than extraordinary bliss
